Kubernetes as a Service (KaaS)
Managing Kubernetes infrastructure with its networking, storage, access, monitoring and lifecycle requirements.

Design resources → build cluster → isolate teams → manage lifecycle
Conceptual animation; real throughput and volume depend on your agreed scope.
01What this service means
Creating a cluster is the start. Operating it is the work.
Pods may be running. But who owns certificates, upgrades, persistent data and recovery from a lost node?
Outputs of the agreed scope
Cluster architecture, version and maintenance plan, monitoring scope and responsibility boundaries with the application team.
Important boundary
Kubernetes does not automatically back up your application or persistent data.
02F2Cloud DevOps / Service flow
Deploy your application. We operate the cluster.
Design resources → build cluster → isolate teams → manage lifecycle
Outcome: Resources and environments are designed.
-
At this stage
Cluster count, environment separation and resource needs are defined.
-
At this stage
Cluster, network, storage and monitoring are configured.
-
At this stage
Namespaces and access rights are assigned to teams.

At this stage
Upgrades, capacity and incident management are run by F2.
Supported versions and add-ons are confirmed during discovery. Application manifests and Helm charts remain customer-managed.
Kubernetes is powerful but demanding to run: control-plane upgrades, node capacity, network policies, storage classes, certificates and monitoring all need constant attention.
With F2Cloud managed Kubernetes, the cluster lifecycle is run by F2. Teams are isolated with namespace-level access control, network segmentation and resource quotas.
A private registry, CI/CD infrastructure and, in supported environments, Kaspersky Container Security form an integrated software delivery chain.
Technical scope and limits
- Application manifests and Helm charts are customer-managed; advisory support is available.
- Supported Kubernetes versions and add-ons are confirmed during discovery.
Frequently asked questions
What is managed Kubernetes?
A service model where the provider handles cluster build-out, upgrades, monitoring and security operations.
How is managed Kubernetes priced?
Monthly, based on node resources, cluster count, storage, backup and security scope.
How do you handle Kubernetes security?
Namespace isolation, network policies, access control and, in supported environments, image scanning and runtime protection with Kaspersky Container Security.

What is managed Kubernetes? Defining service boundaries
Creating a cluster is not the same as operating one. Upgrades, observability, security and ownership boundaries define the actual service.
-
Kubernetes backup and recovery: from manifests to data
A cluster can be rebuilt, but its application data and dependencies do not return automatically.
-
OpenShift application backup and recovery: not the whole cluster
Backing up an OpenShift application is not the same scenario as recovering an entire cluster. The proposal must state explicitly which one is in scope.
03What confidence is built on
Less adjectives. More accountability.
F2Cloud brings F2 Bilişim's networking, cybersecurity and virtualization engineering into a managed service model. A sound decision needs clear boundaries as well as commitments.
- 01
Written scope. Clear ownership.
Which workloads are protected? Who monitors and responds? The proposal defines architecture, included services and responsibility boundaries.

A target matters when it is measured.
RPO and RTO are set around your workloads. Recovery exercises assess applications, networking and access together. A target is not a guarantee.

Know where data lives and who can reach it.
A Turkey-hosting assessment must cover primary data, backups, logs and support access. KVKK considerations include data flows and roles, not location alone.
